Trying to find a good pencil sharpener for my wife's colored pencils.

Hi, my wife does a lot of paper crafts mainly but she also does some work with colored pencils. She complains fairly often about the pencil sharpener she has, how it "chews" up the pencils and doesn't really leave a nice point at the end. She doesn't really elaborate on the problem other than that. Anyway, I wanted to try and get her a better sharpener or something that will help the problem.

She uses a regular old plastic sharpener. One of the little hand held things you would get at target or wherever and give to a child going to school. She uses Roseart colored pencils mainly I believe. Anybody have any thoughts on this problem. Thanks!

I drew my girlfriend's dog as a gift for her. I took progress shots since this is one of the first things I've drawn after having not drawn for many years. I used a few different pictures as reference since the lighting on the main picture wasn't ideal. This is definitely the best drawing I've ever done since I used to mostly do monsters and video game stuff when I was a kid. I plan on drawing my sister's cat as a birthday gift for her.
